Good bagels, reasonably priced, attentive service
Formerly called Mr. Bagel, this no-frills neighborhood shop has been in Ridgewood for over 10 years. Other spots have opened in the neighborhood since, but I always come back here in the end. Long time staff, crisp yet soft bagels that wont hurt your jaw when you eat them and unbeatable prices. While the menu is simple and the inside may appear unimpressive to some, this place has rightfully earned its spot on the block and five stars in my eyes. You'll always get a freshly made, quality New Yorker bagel here.
Cash only ATM inside no sit down no bathroom Egg sandwich is good rolls are better than the bagel. The Bagels taste like bread not boiled so the chew is missing. Service is fast store is clean.
I ordered a egg salad bagel with butter mayo and lettuce and they did it right with no questions or judgement. A little heavy on the egg salad, but at the end of the day I felt like a valued customer.
Delicious 10/10 recommended everything tasted fresh they make the bagels from scratch which is awesome and the staff is very nice.
You will never find bagels like the bagels at wow bagel. I have been coming here since i was in the 4th grade. Bagels are $1 plain. Their bacon egg and cheese is well made, honestly everything is well made. But the bagel itself is what makes the sandwiches. The bagels are made here and they are truly Ridgewood's hidden gem. You can't call and order ahead which is annoying. The wait can be long in store. So if you're in a rush this wouldn't be my first pick for breakfast. But over all i would come back time and time again. Worth the money? Yes

Based on bacon egg and cheese (BEC). This is by far my favorite bacon egg and cheese! Roll: toasted to perfection (if you don't like toasted rolls, you're most definitely a serial killer) Fried Eggs: cooked medium with tender love and care Bacon: cooked perfectly! That's all I have to say The staff is always super polite and they take care of you right away. Any time I'm in the area I MUST buy a bacon egg and cheese from here...no exceptions!
